There are many different ways to build a rainwater harvesting system. As you get closer to building your own, you will see that certain designs fit better into your plans. I’ve built mine with ideas from others and modified them to fit my needs. My goal was to build a system that can: 1) easily be expanded 2) did not require permanent changes (such as cutting into the barrels) so that the barrels could be used for something else if need be 3) cost effective The intent of this video was to give you an idea of how much rainwater actually falls even during a light drizzle.
